    Sorry, there are no pages to display for this level.

We belong to a group of local people who are researching the history of Broughton and its people. Eventually culminating in a book about the village where any contributions donated will be accredited to you.

If you would like to help out we would welcome any memories or copies of documents and photographs of the village or its people.

If you live in an old property or know a previous property stood where yours is now, your deeds can give valuable information. Old deeds often list previous owners and owners of neighbouring properties and land. A number of the older properties in the village have previously been farms, shop or workshops for tradesmen.

If your family originates from Broughton and you have an interesting family story please share it.

If you are on Facebook we have a group called ‘Broughton and Appleby Memories’ and a webpage on www.survival-medic.com/books/broughton.htm or contact us using the details below;
